Highest priority for quality and safety.

Quality management, which stems from continuous improvement as well as the fulfilment of the highest requirements in the area of occupational health and safety, and environmental protection, is the natural companion to our daily work. Therefore, we direct ourselves to the strict observance of legal regulations as well as German (DIN) and international (EN/ISO) standards for which we allow ourselves to be regularly measured through the required recertification process.

Quality Management

It is a strategy goal commitment for us that the fulfilment of our own and customer specific quality requirements are in accordance with what is promoted to all our employees and as a result, create a strong quality consciousness, which is understood, credibly supported and exemplified by the whole management team. In this respect, all businesses as well as all the employees in the Griesemann Group have committed to a quality philosophy in which they are fully part of the continual development and improvement and, with that, set sustainable quality measures that provide trust and bring about increasing customer demand.

Occupational health and safety

In our understanding of work and all activities that are associated with it, occupational health and safety has the highest priority. Our strong safety awareness is reflected in all processes related to daily work – both in the operational areas of planning as well as in manufacturing and installation construction sites: Our QHSE team ensures that safety compliant behaviour is the overarching basis for our interdisciplinary designed workflows. This applies equally for our own employees as for our contractors. Regular safety training, toolbox meeting and hazard analysis create a basis so that the behaviour of our employees is positively influenced in relation to the necessary safety requirements. Thereby, a cascading distribution of a group-wide successfully practiced philosophy is consistently instilled in a mutual causal interdependence. In permanent dialogue with our customers, we work out individual targets, goals and measures and immediately put these into practice.

Health protection

The adequate observance of health protection for the employees entrusted into our care is both a responsibility and an obligation at the same time. How strongly we take the introduction of preventive safety measures to heart – for example by examining materials and substances or with regard to the deployment of staff in noise exposed and/or chemically contaminated areas – can not only be seen through the offer of regular occupational medical examinations but also by the fact that appropriate measures are an important part of framework contracts with our customers.

Environmental protection

The importance of environmentally friendly behaviour though careful and sustainable use of our resources is anchored as an important component in our code of conduct to which we have committed ourselves group-wide. It is of high relevance for us to consider appropriate measures to avoid those environmental impacts directly caused by our actions, or those services which we can influence, even before we act and use fit for purpose, available and economically viable technologies.

In accordance with our many customers in the chemical and petrochemical industries, we commit ourselves to the global “Responsible Care Initiative” of the chemical industry. The core of this initiative is the determination for continuous improvement in safety, health and environmental protection – even beyond legal obligations.
