Reverse Engineering

Reverse Engineering by Re-documentation.

If existing plants are insufficiently documented, or have undertaken considerable changes which have not been incorporated in the current documentation, then the current situation in the plant can be determined and declared by an engineering reconstruction. In this case, one talks about plant reverse engineering.

The scope of reverse engineering and the associated costs depend on the affected specialist trades, the necessary documentation structure and depth, and not least on the available plant data.

In reverse engineering, it may make sense to move to a modern database system (e.g. for PI diagrams) and/or a document management system.

In any case, a concrete project task assignment in agreement with the customer should be developed and implemented. Experienced engineers and IT specialists are available for this in reverse Engineering.
